Location: The land of fire.

History: This clan remained hidden. They kept to themselves with powerful barrier type jutsu. Years ago they got fed up with all the fighting and war so they decided to disappear from the face of the earth. In time even word about them vanished. They were completely forgotten.
Special Info: They have a "royal" family. Much like the Hyuuga clan. There is a primary family line that is in control of the entire clan. They still keep up their training and such, just in case they are ever discovered and attacked.

Requirements: No one knows about this clan other than people born in the Maendai clan.

Description: The Hikarigan is a lost ocular jutsu. People used to acknowledge it alongside the Byakugan, Sharingan, and Rinnegan. It means "Light-eye". It allows the user to deal with various light techniques. It can also make predictions of movements, much like the Sharigan can. When activated it appears as a halo of golden light around the pupil in the eye. The most mature form of the Hikarigan is the Sora Hikarigan which means Sky-Light-eye. The same halo from the regular Hikarigan still surrounds the pupil, but a glowing golden plus appears in the pupil and it extends from the very center of the eye to the edges. Only about 3 or 4 people have ever been known to awaken this form of the Hikarigan (as of presently). The Sora Hikarigan allows the user to move at the speed of light. A cloak of light appears around the user who has mastered the Sora Hikarigan (if they activate the jutsu of course). It appears as a bright white light, with large white wings, and glowing golden orbs for eyes. There are many other light-styled techniques the Hikarigan and Sora Hikarigan can use. It also lets people see in darkness and can be used to easily evaporate Genjutsu.

Description: This jutsu makes the user basically move like ghosts. It momentarily makes the user intangible. However under normal circumstances they cannot attack either. So it is primarily used as a defensive technique. Variations of this technique do exist.

Description: While intangible from the "Wisp Technique", spectral fire creates a flare that is intangible in itself. The fire won't burn anything, but the target. So it remains intangible until it hits the target. Variations of this technique exist as well.

Description: This jutsu creates a large flash of blinding light. It is a supplementary technique primarily used to disorient the target. Depending on the intensity of the flash, the blinding effect can last a few seconds, or even a minute long. The largest flash recorded actually blinded the target. Occasionally a loud sound can accompany the jutsu, which can even deafen the target momentarily. Adding to the technique's ability to disorient.

Description: This is an average attacking Light-styled jutsu. It creates bursts of light that are used to explode. It can be used as distraction, making multiple explosions happen around. Or can be concentrated, and actually focus the explosions onto the target itself. Not a very powerful jutsu, but it can get the job done.

Description: This jutsu creates a large, slim stream of light. It can be used as a homing attack, or as a whip. The jutsu can cut through even solid rock.

Description: A variation of the "Stream" jutsu. It creates multiple streams of light, and can be controlled by the user. Each one has the strength enough to slice trees, and rocks, and other things like butter. With multiple whips, it makes it slightly harder for the target to avoid them.

Description: Only a user of the Sora Hikarigan can achieve this high-level technique. It creates a huge ray of light, that emits from the sky. It enacts judgment upon the target. A very devastating technique. Probably the strongest destructive jutsu from the Sora Hikarigan.

Name of Jutsu: Forbidden Light Secret Art: Searing Retinas Jutsu

Description: A technique that only Yuudai has been known to use. Furthermore only a Sora Hikarigan can use this jutsu. The user locks eyes with the enemy and the users' eyes shine brightly. The technique burns the targets eyes and blinds them for the rest of their lives. It can even cause more damage than that, and even kill them. The only downfall of this technique is the eyes of both the user and the target have to be locked for around 10 seconds.

Description: This jutsu is only usable with the Sora Hikarigan, and even then it is a very difficult jutsu to use. Light makes a glowing white and golden cloak around the user. Usually the cloak has wings and a halo. But the cloak does differ from each person who achieves this jutsu. In this state the user can move at the speed of light. So fast that the after images are actually physical images. Light techniques are much easier to use, and don't require a handsign or a word spoken to be used. This form is so powerful that users usually can only maintain it for short periods of time (Which is all that is usually needed) as it eats through chakra like nothing. It also poses harm on the user as it is physically straining on the body. This form is the epitome of strength for Hikarigan users.

There is more jutsus, but I think they can be discovered in rp. And of course there can be variations to these jutsus. Naturally that would happen in rp and people would make different variations.

Clan Special Characteristics: Most Maendais have white hair with blue in them. They also usually wear loose-fitting white clothing, with silvers, golds, blues.

Since it's a clan jutsu, it can go here.
As for making one for all of them, until you feel like it or your character uses it you don't need to have them all done to get the clan approved. ^_^

Perfection! except in my personal opinion, Judgement Ray and Armor refraction should be S rank, but you can make the final decision you're still accepted no matter what you choose.
But would you be able to add the current clan leader, and if it's open or closed?

Well Judgment Ray is S rank x3 and Refraction.. well its a strong jutsu.. but i wanted it to basically be on par with Shining Knight (Although it may be a tad more useful).

And the Clan Leader.. Well I think its going to be Yuudai.. I havent decided if I want his father to be alive.. x3

hehe ive put alot of thought into the Maendai clan.. see in my old rp, the maendai clan was all killed off (Except for Yuudai, and his sister) and he found out later his cousin and Sounoske (the founder), which was apart of my plot.. but i sort of want the Maendai clan to still be around.. so other people can make Maendais ^^ but Yuudai is the "royal" line therefore hes next in line to be Clan leader, but im not sure if i want his father alive or not..

I think it would be neat if he was...
